Ford Mustang Keyless Entry Remote Fob

1. Insert the key into the ignition.

2. Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN (engine off) 8 times within ten seconds, ending in the RUN position. (engine off)

3. The power door locks should cycle to indicate program mode.

4. Press any button on the fob to program, the power door locks should cycle to indicate successful programming. Repeat for additional fobs.

5. Turn the ignition off to exit program mode.


1. Inside the trunk on the drivers side, remove the trim panel located behind the tail light.

2. Locate the black box with two gray wires coming from it. (not connected to anything)

3. Turn the ignition to RUN (engine off)

4. Temporarily connect the two jumper wires, locks should cycle to indicate program mode.

5. Press any button on the transmitter to program, locks should cycle to indicate successful programming.

6. To program additional remotes, press any button on the remaining transmitters to program, locks should cycle to indicate successful programming.

7. Disconnect jumper wires, turn ignition off, test remotes.
