Ford Fusion Keyless Entry Remote Fobs (IKT: Integrated Keyhead Transmitter)

How to Program a Ford Fusion IKT

You MUST have 2 existing programmed keys, the procedure is as follows:

• Insert the first programmed key into the ignition, turn it to the RUN position (engine off), wait for 5 seconds, remove key.
  

• Insert the second programmed key into the ignition, turn it to the RUN position (engine off), wait for 5 seconds, remove key.

• Insert the NEW key into the ignition, turn it to the RUN position (engine off), wait for 5 seconds.

• The new key is now programmed.

If you do not have two existing programmed keys you must use a scan tool to program any additional keys.


NOTE: You can program additional separate keyless fobs to this vehicle, I have tested this personally and the Ford Taurus 4 Button remote should work. The procedure is as follows:

• Insert the key into the ignition.

• Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN (engine off) 8 times within ten seconds, ending in the RUN position. (engine off)

• The power door locks should cycle to indicate program mode.

• Press any button on the fob to program, the power door locks should cycle to indicate successful programming. Repeat for additional fobs.

• Turn the ignition off to exit program mode.
