Here’s the simple four point programming instructions to get your Daimler’s remote keyless entry all working properly:
1. Press the LOCK button on your remote key, five times two seconds apart every time. (CLICK, one steamboat, two steamboat, CLICK, etc.)
2. Now, open the driver’s door of the Daimler and get in. Stick the key in the ignition and turn it to RUN. The car will start chiming but wait for the chiming to end.
3. Press and hold the UNLOCK button for a four second count. Press the PANIC button on the remote for one second interval along while also holding the UNLOCK button. Release both buttons and wait for the chiming to end.
4. Now, simultaneously press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for one second then release them . The chime will sound now, indicating that you have successfully programmed the remote. Switch the key to the OFF position to exit the programming mode.
Of course, test the remotes to see if they work properly.
