How to Program a Chevy Monte Carlo Keyless Entry Remote Fob
Through year model 2005
- Insert the key into the ignition.
- Turn the key to the ON position. (do not start the engine)
- Using the factory radio, press and hold DISP until SETTINGS is displayed on the screen.
- Press SEEK until FOB PROG is displayed on the screen.
- Press the NEXT button, BEGIN will be displayed on the screen.
- Press DISP, hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the fob to be programmed (may take up to 15 secs), a chime will be heard to confirm successful programming.
- Scroll until EXIT is displayed on the screen, press DISP to exit program mode.
Chevy Monte Carlo Keyless Program Procedure 2006+
- Insert the key into the ignition.
- Turn the key to the ON position. (do not start the engine)
- Press the Vehicle Information button until "PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY" is displayed on the screen.
- Press the Reset button until "REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE" is displayed on the screen.
- Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the fob to be programmed, a chime should sound to indicate successful programming. (may take up to 15 secs)
- Turn the ignition OFF to exit program mode.
