Programming Keyless Remotes for BMW
Programming our BMW keyless entry is very simple. A BMW dealer will charge you $100 or more to program keyless entry but why throw your money away? The instructions below offer a variety of ways you might program the key fob for you BMW.
Instructions:
- Begin with all the doors of your BMW firmly closed. Put your car key in the ignition.
- Do this five (5) times: turn the key in the ignition until it clicks then turn it back to the OFF position.
- Take the key out of the ignition. Push the unlock button on your BMW's keyless entry remote fob and hold that while you press the unlock button three (3) times. Your doors should automatically lock and unlock to signal that you have successfully programmed your BMW's keyless entry remote access system so far. (Consider this applause. You're almost done.)
- Insert your key into the ignition of the car and turn it on and off quickly.
You are now done programming the keyless entry of your BMW.
