Programming the Audi A4, A6 & A8 keyless remote
The Audi remote keyless entry system (found in the Audi A8, A6, A4, S6 and Allroad models) allows you to lock or unlock the doors of your vehicle from up to 80 feet away. Before you can use the keyless entry remote that came with your Audi A8, A6, A4, you must synchronize it to your vehicle.
We offer several sets of programming instructions you can try on all models of the Audi. The first set of instructions below might apply to select models- but it might work for you. Try it! If it doesn't work there is a second set of instructions below.
Instructions1. Sit in the Audi A4 (A8, S6 or A6) driver's seat while you program the keyless entry remote.
2. Press and release any button on the Audi's keyless entry remote.
3. Press the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the driver's side door to synchronize the keyless entry remote to the Audi.
4. Exit the vehicle, close all of the doors. Press "Lock" to test the keyless entry remote to ensure that the synchronization process was successful.
Further: For any second Audi A4, A6, A8 or S6 keyless entry fob, repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Audi Keyless Entry Programming Instructions (2):
If the above programming instructions do not work, try the following programming instructions. These do sound to us like a bit of a hack but they might also be worth trying:
1.Roll all the windows up with the switch inside.
2.Insert the key into the drivers' door lock cylinder, close the door and turn key to unlock position and hold, to roll all windows down.
3.Turn the key in the opposite direction and hold, while rolling all windows up.
4.Remove the key (the LED safe light should start blinking).
These should program your Audi A4, A6, A8 or S6. If these do not work, sorry you should consult your dealer.
